Mojito Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • Malibu Caribbean Rum

  • Jumbo Shrimp

  • Lime

  • Cilantro

  • Mint

  • BlackGirl Infused® Coconut Oil

  • Minced Garlic

  • Salt & Pepper

  • Garlic Salt

  • 1 1/2 Cups sugar

  • 1 cup Agave

Instructions:

  1. Peel the shrimp if necessary, rinse and pat dry. Set aside

  2. Chop mint and cilantro and add to bowl with shrimp.

  3. Mince the garlic and add to bowl.

  4. Cut limes in half and add the juice of both halves to the bowl.

  5. Pour in a half cup of rum.

  6. Add two tablespoons of coconut oil to the bowl.

  7. Sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 mins.

  8. Remove shrimp from refrigerator.

  9. Add two tablespoons of BlackGirl Infused® Coconut oil to a hot skillet and melt.

  10. Add shrimp to skillet and sautee until pink.

  11. While shrimp is cooking make the glaze. Add to sauce pan sugar, rum, and agave and simmer until it thickens.

  12. Once shrimp are done, add glaze mixture to shrimp, serve topped with fresh cilantro…..ENJOY!
